Major projects

The Erasme Program

UPEC won the PIA 4 "ExcellencES" investment program's call for projects for its Erasme program (Teaching and Research to Advance Societal Missions through Commitment).

UPEC Space Campus

Launched in 2017, the UPEC Space Campus offers innovative training programs at all levels in both fundamental and applied disciplines.

LIVE: Life trajectories and Health Vulnerability

LIVE aims to combine the know-how and research inputs of multiple disciplines in order to address vulnerability in all its facets, by creating a new Graduate School.

Grand Paris EUR FRAPP

When compared to other multilingual countries, plural francophone societies offer a prism through which we can explore the politics of language, the geopolitics of power, and biopolitical issues crucial to Europe today, such as migration and the rise of nationalism.

AIRDUCATION

AIRDUCATION is a series of European digital training programs designed to raise public awareness about air quality and encourage best practices. It was first launched by UPEC and is co-sponsored by Airparif.

House of Environmental Science

The House of Environmental Science has welcomed around 100 researchers with the aim of becoming a major player in environmental research.

Chair in Disability, Employment and Occupational Health

The Chair offers an ambitious multidisciplinary, educational and scientific program, whose objective is to design and implement new solutions to promote the social and professional integration of people with disabilities.

UPEC's technical qualifications campuses

UPEC's technical qualifications campuses have been awarded the "Campus d'excellence" label.

The E-city program

The E-city applied research program aims to gain a better understanding of the impact of the environment and individual or collective practices on health trajectories.

Laboratories of Excellence

UPEC has one laboratory of excellence (LabEx) and is heavily involved in four others.

The Vaccine Research Institute

The Vaccine Research Institute (VRI) was created by the ANRS and UPEC to accelerate research on HIV/AIDS, the hepatitis C virus, and emerging infectious diseases.

DIM One Health 2.0

The DIM One Health 2.0 project, which was certified by the Paris region in February 2022, aims to promote research that integrates human, environmental, and animal health, particularly relating to pathogens.

The UPEC Foundation

In the face of social inequalities, climate change, medical crises, and other societal issues, UPEC is committed to empowering those who will shape the world of tomorrow. To meet this goal, we created the UPEC Foundation in January 2021. The Foundation brings together the university’s major partners to develop innovative projects and support UPEC’s ambitions of being a committed, open, and responsible university pursuing excellence.
